Neuroscience for Change Certification

This APMG International accredited Neuroscience for Change Certification equips all individuals, not just change professionals, with brain-based tools to lead themselves and others through change. Grounded in evidence-based science, it explains how our brains respond to uncertainty and why resistance is natural. Using the PEPE© model (Pain, Energy, Peaks and Valleys, Error detection), participants learn practical strategies to boost resilience, sustain motivation, and engage others effectively.

By understanding brain processes, leaders can communicate with empathy, prioritise wisely, and design brain-friendly approaches to work. Neuroscience for Change enhances leadership, coaching, and teamwork skills, helping individuals thrive in today’s fast-changing world.

pepe model
  • Our Neuroscience for Change training provides learners with a practical yet powerful neuroscience-based framework to leverage benefits from change.
  • This training teaches individuals impacted by change how their brain processes information about change and how the brain reacts to the uncertainty created by change.

  • Communicators who want to know how to shape their content to engage people in change.
  • Senior managers who are originating and experiencing high volumes of change.

For Individuals

  • Apply neuroscience techniques like the PEPE© model to better understand how the brain reacts to change and ways to stay proactive.
  • Communicate more effectively to those affected by change by first understanding the nervous system and how it influences information processing and decision-making mechanisms.
  • Gain a holistic understanding of neuroscience to boost positive associations with change and reduce negative signals to the brain.
  • Learn a structured approach on how to build resilience and reduce resistance to change.

For Organizations

  • Helps organizations convert challenges into opportunities by establishing a culture resilient to different types of change.
  • Provides coaches and leaders with the tools and approaches necessary to ease resistances to change and enhance overall engagement and motivation.
  • Improve outcomes of change initiatives through iterative implementations that lead to smoother, sustained adoption.
  • The information you need to manage your change initiative.
  • The four fundamental principles that drive resistance to change, defined within the PEPE © model (Pain, Energy, Peaks and Valleys, and Error detection).
  • How to make decisions about allocating the available time to deliver the greatest value.
  • How to prioritize activities according to their business value.
  • The techniques to identify the benefits of your change and how each of these benefits are dependent on each other.
