SIAM Foundation Certification
SIAM is a world class, innovative operating model and framework (owned by Scopism and accredited by EXIN) that is ideal for organisations that utilise a number of internal functional units and/or external service providers to deliver and manage services.
The SIAM Foundation Certification, Based on the Scopism SIAM BoK V3, provides you with an understanding of Service Integration and Management (SIAM) in accordance with international standards for SIAM, organisational structures for good governance and good management, roles and responsibilities of the SIAM organisation and the essential SIAM processes.
You will also learn about the integrated process approach of SIAM, the SIAM roadmap for implementation and the governance, management and operating model.
In multi-sourced operating environments services are provided using a combination of people, processes and technologies from a number of organizations, each with a range of contractual obligations and potentially different capabilities to deliver value. One way to address this challenge is through establishing an international standards based, discrete Service Integration and Management unit and system.
An effective SIAM system enables organizations to take advantage of the opportunity and flexibility of multi-sourcing to deliver integrated services to business units and their customers while ensuring good governance, operational management, risk management and regulatory compliance.
The main goal of Service Integration and Management is to coordinate internal and external suppliers and their services in a cost-effective way to achieve the end-to-end service levels needed to support the goals of the business functions.
This Certification adheres with a globally recognised and accredited course syllabus and certification process, governed by EXIN.

This certification is aimed at professionals worldwide who have an interest in the practices of SIAM or want to implement this methodology in an organization and in particular professionals who are already working with service management processes. Furthermore, this SIAM™ certification is intended for providers that want to implement and manage SIAM models.
More specifically, the following roles could be interested: chief strategy officers (CSOs), chief information officers (CIOs), chief technical officers (CTOs), service managers, service provider portfolio strategists/leads, managers (including process managers, project managers, change managers, service level managers, business relationship managers, program managers and supplier managers), service architects, process architects, business change practitioners and organizational change practitioners.
There are no pre-requisites for the SIAM Foundation Certification.
The SIAM foundation exam is a 60-minute, 40 question, multiple-choice exam. You require 65% to pass the exam and attain the SIAM Foundation Certification.
YOUR CERTIFICATION OPTIONS
The Self-Study option is the most cost effective and flexible approach to learning and certifying in your chosen qualification.
This option includes:
- A student manual/workbook containing all of the information (and more) you need to learn and absorb in your chosen subject or qualification.
- Handouts or supplementary materials that summarise key course topics or provide overviews of the framework or methodology you have chosen.
- Practice examinations that enable you to gain insight into the questions styles and test-your live exam readiness (where applicable).
- Official e-books provided from the owners/creators of the qualifications (applies to specific qualifications).
- An Exam voucher from the appropriate Examination Institute that is valid for 1 year and enables you to take the examination online at a time and place convenient for you.
- Once you have finished studying you can book a 1 hour online personal Q&A session with a Fox ITSM coach. Your coach is not only fully qualified in your chosen qualification but also has practical industry experience.
