This ITIL Version 5 Foundation Certification (v5) is fully accredited with Peoplecert.  It is the entry level qualification and is therefore designed as an introduction to the ITIL Version 5 framework.

ITIL is the acronym for the Information Technology Infrastructure Library comprising a set of best practices for managing digital products and services. It is AI native and offers a practical framework that focuses on the identification, planning, delivery, and support of digital products and services of an organisation. Implementing ITIL leads to greater visibility of costs, better asset utilisation, reduced costs, and higher customer satisfaction.

ITIL Version 5 enables you to understand a modern way to look at product and service management through as an example, the ITIL Service Value System (SVS). ITIL v5 offers an evolved view of a Service Value System (SVS) and provides a holistic end-to-end view of what it means to contribute to customer experience and capturing business value. It also integrates concepts from methods such as Organisational Change Management (OCM)Agile and Design Thinking.

The ITIL Version 5 Foundation Certification (V5) provides a solid grounding in ITIL 5 concepts and best practices, enabling you to understand and apply digital product and service management principles and best practices.

This ITIL 5 Foundation certification adheres with an accredited course syllabus and certification process governed by Peoplecert.

Although there are no pre-requisites for the ITIL 5 Foundation course or for the examination, it is recommended that exam candidates complete an accredited course before attempting the examination.

The qualification is based on a 1-hour closed-book examination of 40 multiple choice questions. The pass mark required to certify is 26/40 (65%).  Successful delegates will be awarded the ITIL 5 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.

It is important that any interested parties to be aware that all ITIL training events are always and only offered together with the respective exam which is included in the training price.
